Activities and entertainments are coordinated by our Activities Manager, and include a weekly programme of quizzes, gardening (we have a new courtyard area with raised beds), entertainments including Concerts, Games, Entertainers, gentle exercises, visits and entertainments by local school children and college students, and other social activities, such as the popular reminiscence sessions. Individual trips out are also available, and residents may choose to participate in as much or as little as they wish.
Arts and Crafts are encouraged but residents make their own choices to join in any sessions.
A regular event is the Pilton Festival held each year in the grounds of Pilton House.
A full Christmas programme is organised and the Vicar from Pilton Church conducts regular communion services, which residents may attend if they choose.
